The Rowitta is a 110 feet long steamer originally built in Tasmania and launched in 1909.

Her function was to be a passenger ferry on the river Tamar, which she did for approxa., 30 years.

She then was used to carry sand for the bridge construction in Hobart then used by the Navy.

The restoration work on this beautiful ketch has now been completed by volunteer enthusiasts at the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia.
