A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep. Proverbs 6:10

And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. I Samuel 16: 12:

Now you may sleep
My little Dahlia buddy,
Your soul will keep!
Before too long
Your flower will open
To have grown in size.
Then you'll arise
To be strong
And ruddy...

Thanks for your comments. I think if I am remembering correctly I used an
umbrella behind this shot for shading and the shadow behind the bud might
have been from my head reflecting on the umbrella...This bud stood out for
me because of the appearance of the closed eye and the little petal on top
that reminded me of a dog ear....I often think flowers and buds resemble faces in their formations.
