A walk around the boating lake in Stanley park Blackpool to HERONS REACH. An island in the lake where HERONS come to nest and raise there young. They usually fledge in early spring having laid their eggs in February then 42 to 55 days to rear and fledge the young. THIS IS THE ACTUAL ISLAND THEY BREED ON

    How cool! We have quite a few heron around here but I've never found their nesting site, thanks for presenting this view.
