Aleister decided to cut through the forest in chance that he might narrowly escape the coming storm.

The sky was wrought with menacing clouds and he harbored that foreboding notion that something eerie was lurking in the darkened sky. Aleister tried to shake off the strange thoughts floating in his mind's eye but couldn't seem to manage; with considerable anxiety he proceeded into the forest.

Not to long after entering the forest did Aleister began to hear strange noises which he tried (and failed) to attribute to the forest wild life; a frog off the path, an old screech owl, a cat that had lost its way.

While treading, he could see glimpses through the moving tree tops. Dark thoughts bounced through his head as he perceived that the sky had inherited a deeper ebony quality, and had begun to glow with an almost translucent blueish gray. Suddenly, a strong gust pushed apart the canopy of trees causing Aleister to look on in horror and astonishment. There, floating within the storm clouds, white and translucent, were what appeared to be two massive jellyfish. Not just any jellyfish though... the kind from a dream or nightmare; storm jellies.

Hope you enjoyed the story and photo manipulation. :-)
