Thou hast put gladness in my heart...Psalm 4: 7

Tippi isn't a nipper
Nor is she a yipper
But she likes to chew....
She found my slipper
And now has a shoe.

Poetry by me, AJP

Tippi, slept in her little dog carrier last night and she was unusually quiet..no crying...but this morning we found where she had chewed her harness in two and we had to sew it back together:)...She isn't wearing it on this particular picture.

We took her for a walk this morning on a leash which she wasn't quite used to yet ...the leash or the walk....However , tonight when we went for our second walk we thought she might not want to go all the rounds with us so we put her in the house. We hadn't gone too far on the trail when we heard some pitiful mournful cries coming from the house...Of course we had to go back to get her and she endured the leash very well the second time....and she enjoyed the walk even better. She is getting spoiled rotten by us but she is loving it too. We still haven't heard her bark yet but maybe that's good because we don't want her to scare the birds from the feeder. The rubber squeak toy shoe is a product from our previous dog Koki who loved it when she was a puppy and we kept it all of these years in memory of her.

We decided to re-spell her name Tippi instead of Tippy....The meaning of Tippi in Hebrew is bird.... in Sweden it is sweetheart ... In Greek the definition means yellow, gold fair...

It sounds like she is adapting to her new home bit by bit (or is that bite by bite).

She is such a sweetheart! I think she has already become very attached to you if she was upset at being left in the house. Good girl, Tippi!
