This Mansion has always intrigued me. It was completed in 1903 for Henry Overholser. The Mansion is a glimpse back in time to the life of the man most responsible for the thriving city we know today. Oklahoma City. The 3-story chateauesque home showcases original furnishings, stained glass and ornate canvas painted walls. They claim it's haunted by Anna Overholser, Henry's second wife. I took a tour of it last summer. It was only the caretaker and I and I must say I did feel a little like I was being watched in a few of the rooms upstairs. The Mansion sits just North of downtown OKC in the Heritage Hills Addition.

I love the narrative and the image is beautiful too of the mansion...I think knowing beforehand it was haunted would make one feel a little apprehensive and upstairs rooms for some reason always seem more spooky, but I'll bet it was fascinating to see the inside and well worth the tour.

I love architecture and you've done this mansion justice. That blue sky amps it way up.
