Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail? Job 38: 22

Yes, we are having a snow storm today...My husband had just got through shoveling outside our front door and was hauling a big heap of it away in a sled when I caught this grab shot.. Tippi, by the shovel was looking up at him as if to say.."Hey Daddy do you expect me to continue shoveling ?" There is a travel advisory out for our area and we are hearing of traffic accidents with spin outs because of people driving too fast for the conditions.

Snow could be thought of
As a "wonder-full" treasure
That young hearts will love....
Or a bothersome displeasure,
For how deep is the measure
And will there be e'en more...
Just outside the front door
To haul away on the sled?
We look for simple joys instead.
It takes a brave soul to enter
The adventures of our winter...

Tippi is definitely getting her abc's in the adventures of winter here! Keeping all that snow at bay is not an easy task. This is a delightful candid capture and it makes a terrific theme entry!

Fantastic entry! I love it! It looks nice with all that fresh snow, but I know it's not that easy to remove it. Here it's raining and the mild temperature it’s melting the snow and ice accumulated. Making space for some more!.

Thank you all for your comments...Dorsey, had quite a work out from shoveling the snow in
front of the house to snow blowing parts of our long 1/8 of a mile driveway up to where the
snow was so deep from the wind blowing it across from the field that he couldn't get through it to then hauling wood in the house that he cut, for our wood stove....You are right Ioana the snow is not all that easy to remove....Fred, Tippi came in the house after that shot...We don't keep her outside any longer than necessary with our type of climate. Winters are tough and not always fun and games .. but above all it is an adventure.

This is a lovely image Andrea. Fortunately or unfortunately, we don't have snow and much needed rain this year.
