Industrial structures fascinate me... the lines... the shapes... the invention itself. This is a local steel mill and every time I passed it in the last five years I think, shoot that. And, so I did. While processing these, a scene from Sherlock Holmes came to mind.

This one shines in lightbox.

    Me too !!!!!
This is a fantastic "steampunk" picture

No doubt there is something cool,a bit scary and extremely interesting about an old mill.
But the last time I indulged my curious fasination of the heavy industrial scene I got slammed in jail for a few days.
I certainly wasn't attempting to steal or loot and only wanted to shoot pictures but that didn't sway the officer's absolute determination to cuff and stuff me.

I was totally in the wrong and the cop was simply doing what he was hired by Orwell Twp.to do.
Seeing no reason to prolong things I entered my "guilty" plea.
I have to say the judge was more than fair and even gave me a small break for being as he said "Dumb as dirt"
I had to contribute a 150.00 fine + 100.00 in court costs and turn over my pictures so they could all be deleted
I was told to get out of Orwell and never to return or face arrest on sight.....I have been asked to leave finer places and never to return so.......

But at that same time anybody could simply walk into Mike Tyson's empty mansion in Southington,Ohio.
But like any good thing theives, idiots and crackheads ruined that for those who just wanted to shoot a few pictures.

For no reason that I could see these worthless morons had to vandalize the property.
Private security was hired and rather than haul you in they just beat the snot out of anyone caught on the grounds.....a most excellent deterrent !!!!
