I took this picture in Historic Shelburne (Nova Scotia). This funny and colorful chair was right on the waterfront, close to one of the main attraction of the town: Dory Shop Museum located. And… yes, is the chair that was out of range. The smiling lady is my wife, and its size is absolutely normal.
Something about the town. The Dory Shop Museum is really engaging and all devoted to sea life and to boatbuilding. This industry is historically significant in Shelburne, where the first vessel –the 181 ton Roseway- was launched in 1786. Many of Shelburne’s historic buildings date back to Loyalist times. In 1994 this area was the location of ‘The Scarlet Letter’, the major movie based on Nathaniel Hawthorne’s novel.
