Here will I dwell, for I have desired it...Psalms 132: 14

These birds speak well
For how much they desire it...
He says "here is where I dwell,
To fill my beak full of suet!!!
Poetry by me AJP

The Red Bellied Woodpecker has been coming more frequently to the feeder and now even later in the day. It is giving me practice to manually shoot with the lower light levels through the window with the aid of a tripod to prevent camera shake. ...He was just ready to fly away with mouth full of suet and I think he moved a little bit on this shot in his hurry to leave. However, this might have been a sharper photo had I shot it earlier in the day instead of at 5:13 when it was getting dark. it was difficult focusing but am just lucky I caught this.

I think Mr. woodpecker was loading up because he heard the cold forecast for tomorrow on Valentines Day...It is supposed to be -6 degrees below with -20 wind chill..Brrr!!!
