This is the first time this species of migratory warbler has been to our feeder.. He came briefly this morning and hopefully he will return with his mate who looks like him but with duller colors.

I read in North American Wildlife by Reader's Digest the following information:
" the distinctive song helps to locate the bird..the usual version approximates, tsee, see, see, see, see swee.BEAT-chew, with the last note dropping in pitch...several generations of birders have used the words " I wish to see Miss Beecher" as a memory aid.
