On a windy day in the Galapagos, we had the pleasure to watch a lot of Albatross's make their landings as they came in from the sea. Got a nice capture of this one on 'final approach' to a field immediately to the right of this view.

An adult Albatross has a wing span of 8 feet and can glide for hundreds of miles over water. Absolutely amazing to watch their take off's and touch downs...
