...Some have entertained angels unaware...Hebrews 13: 2

Archive shot on a beautiful day in July when a Scarlet tanager came to our feeder to eat jelly...It was a rare occasion as he has not been back since...I was able to shoot 5 pictures altogether but I think he would have stayed longer except for the fact that a catbird swooped down and pecked him on the head...You can see the diffused catbird in the background getting ready to prepare his attack on this bird who was unaware.

    The catbirds are mean birds and it is no wonder that the scarlet tanager did not want to come back to where the catbird had attacked him. That is such a shame that the beautiful birds get ran off like that!!!
