....renewing the face of the earth...Psalm 104: 30

When looking through my film camera bag today I found an old Hoya 52 mm 85 color conversion glass filter that I had forgot about...It was useful in the past when correcting a bluish cast in tungsten film (if that's all one had left to shoot with) when shooting pictures outside in daylight..I never used it for bird photography until today with this experiment. I attached the filter to my digital Nikon Coolpix P600 camera, while shooting through the window of the male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. It gave a warming effect to the overall image. It was fun to try and it worked okay for this picture but I wouldn't go overboard on it for everything. I prefer natural outside lighting.

View best in Light-box! Thank you!

Natural outside lighting is best but using this filter did give a warming effect to the overall image. It's a really nice capture!
