In December 2007, while I was setting up the artificial Christmas tree in our condo, my daughter's kitty (Abby) climbed up the center of the tree and was peeking in and out of the branches.

That's really cute ...I remember years ago when I was a child my folks had a cat that climbed the Christmas tree and knocked it over with all of the ornaments on it...I have not thought about that in years until I saw this picture.

Good thing that the ornaments are not on the tree yet.

Andrea and Ann - I had to laugh when I read both your comments - as in 1978, on Christmas Eve, waiting for my family (parents, aunts, uncles, cousins) to come to our house in Hudson, Ohio - our cat Chubbins took a running start and jumped into the top of our totally decorated tree - bringing it down! My husband and children and I managed to get the tree up again - and the ornaments back on the tree - before any of our guests arrived. Thank goodness we had thick carpeting - none of the ornaments broke. :-)
