This blue jay doesn't fly South
To pop a seed in his mouth
But stays around here all year....
Trying to keep on the go
And braves the atmosphere
Moving ahead of the snow...

Tomorrow we are expecting up to 10 inches of snow with blizzard type weather. We are seeing lots of birds flying on the feeder today as they know they have to have food for energy to survive ...The tricky part is to keep the snow from burying the seeds/

    Thank you all for your comments...I worry about the birds too Liz and I doubt they will all
    survive this brutally cold weather....Survival of the fittest when it comes to the wildlife...and
    if some of them are sickly or old, nature isn't always kind.
