"O Lord of hosts, that dwell between the cherubim; thou art the God of all the kingdoms of the earth.; thou hast made heaven and earth. Isaiah 37: 16"

These birds migrated from Canada.... Yesterday flocks of them arrived and flew to our feeder. The four finches that are mixed with deep rose color are male and the two females that are not mixed are on the far right. It is nice to see the variety of migrating birds that we are blessed to receive and I am thankful there is no ban on them!:)

View best in light box! Thank you!!!

Thank you Gail for your kind words. These finches were ravenous when they arrived and they came back several times to the feeder yesterday....I haven't seen them today and they may have been here temporarily stopping through on their journey.

Excellent capture!!! I bet that these birds know where your feeder is and makes a stop on their journey back and forth when migrating.

Fred, Oh yes the purple finches migrating birds had a wonderful banquet without the traveling ban:) They made it here in record time without delay on their flight! Thanks to all for the comments.
