"Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things...Psalms 119: 18"

Photography indeed opens eyes
Sometimes with complete surprise...
When we see the whole picture,
Beyond a bird with wings.
Of what was foretold in scripture
Is to "behold wondrous things!"

Thank you for the comments....Maybe it is just my wacky way of seeing things but I detected an "optical illusion" of part of a woman's face in line with the cardinal's eye and eyebrow is evident and the nose is a little more soft. But of course didn't see this until after I looked at the picture itself and not when I was photographing the cardinal at the time...

I totally agree, Andrea! I had to look twice and then I could clearly see a woman's face beside the cardinal, looking up at him. A remarkable image in every way.. and then some!!
