The birds outside will either fly away in alarm or they will sing along and get me on the right key:) I plan to entertain the song birds hopefully who come to our feeder:)

Sad to say I have had this dulcimer since Oct. 15. 2016 and only tried to play it a couple of times. It is my summer's resolution to teach myself how to play it.. I have a song book specifically for dulcimer music! Hope to have fun with this project as a hobby for my own enjoyment and will take time to learn something new .... at my age it might not be easy, but better late than never.

I shot this self portrait with camera on a tripod with a 10 sec. self timer... I am kneeling on a root in front of the trunk of what is left of the old weeping willow tree. The tree was massive in its day but fell over when a storm struck it October 26, 2010 exactly a year before my mother passed away at the age of 102 ....The tree was also over 100 years old.

I am dedicating this page to my husband whose birthday was yesterday when I did this SP May 31st 2018.
