I shot a series of pictures of an Amish family haying in the field and totally unexpected to see across the track from a horse pull event that my husband and I attended with our neighbors who invited us to ride along with them to both a horse pull and pony pull later.

The Amish family in the field haying was something that one doesn't see every day and a way of life for these farmers who were working hard on a hot day with their draft horses.

Thank you Lynn for your comment ...On this shot the men were pitching the hay from the pulley system attached to the back of the wagons while the boys were holding the horses reins Amazing how the wagons were full to over spilling on the sides.
