Theatre culture in Bengal has its own glorious history which is under threat in present times. Due to lack of financial support and political interference, artists are bound to choose an alternative profession. Performers are fighting against all the difficulties just to continue with their passion. In this image a theater artist is rehearsing an important scene just before his stage performance. As the bonding between people is slowly fading away nowadays, sustention of group theatre is crucially important as only it can convey goodwill massages to the mass by direct interaction. Powerful narrative and image. I can only hope that this level of threat will be able to be maintained, the theatre will never die!

A skillfully captured black and white portrait with existing light and the narrative is well expressed also.
