I shot this candid at the County Fair August 11, 2017 in our town where there is an old school house museum that was moved to the fair grounds a number of years ago. It is fun to review past history when going to the fair to check out what this building contains.

This young artist was concentrating with writing something on the blackboard when I shot this candid of her with chalk drawings of a Smiley face on one end and a cat on the other side. It is a little different spin for the challenge. We just don't see the typical graffiti art on the walls where we live. However, after doing some research online I learned there is indeed a type of art called blackboard chalk graffiti so hopefully this will work. I especially liked the rapt attention I caught of the young girl who was sitting spellbound on the edge of the chair, totally absorbed with what she had contributed for that moment in time, which eventually would be erased from the blackboard to be wiped clean until another year.

Best View in Light Box! Thank you!

Thank you very much Herbert Andrew Dutton for nominating this on 2/20/2019. Appreciated!
