This is the very same bird that I photographed one second apart earlier this afternoon ...and somehow got it to fit into one picture similar to a diptych.... Not an easy project and I spent way too much time on it:-) I liked how he appeared to be be listening to the other bird (who was himself) as they discussed the weather in the language that only birds of the same feather understands:-)

    Thank you for your comments...This little guy is admirable and I love his long claws that he puts to good use in deep snow when digging for the seeds in a snow storm..He is a survivor and self reliant ....However I hope his endurance doesn't weaken when the storms continue!
