I bought this used art book at a library book sale. The name of it is the Age of Rembrandt and Vermeer by J. M. Nash. On the left side of this page is a reproduction print by Johannes Vermeer (1632-75) entitled "Christ in the House of Mary and Martha" about 1654. On the other side is entitled "Maid Servant pouring Milk." About 1660 also by Vermeer. He and Rembrandt are some of my favorite artists in history as their works of art remind me of photographs.

I added a framed reproduction print of "the Maid Servant pouring milk" that my late mother gave to me years ago that she bought at a rummage sale and it has special meaning to me. The hardest part of showing some of the art in the book is in finding innovative ways of holding the book so that the glossy pages don't pick up glare. I started out using flash and have been doing over some of my earlier attempts as I like the floor lamp better for a warmer effect. It has not been an easy project and they all don't turn out but at the same time it has been fun. I have removed some to replace with others. I don't consider myself a pro at this but it is a learning experience.
