Eager to say goodbye
To winter ending soon...
He flew thru' the night sky
Celebrating on a full moon
Without his dish or spoon....
While resting weary wings
Northern cardinal says it all.....
O'er the moon for spring!!!.

The male cardinal was originally on the bird feeder today and I captured the full moon tonight..combining the two images together, March 19. 2019.

Thank you so much JamesHarmon McQuilkin for nominating this on 3/20/2019! Very appreciated!

Best View in Light Box! Thank you!!!

Very creatively photo Andrea .How you put the bird on the moon surface?

Andrea Petersen said (19 Mar 2019):

Thank you Nasrin...I did this in photo shop by cropping the cardinal from the original picture
of it on the feeder and layering it over the moon erasing around the edges ,,,it is a tedious process as I just have a simple basic photo shop..the hardest part is erasing around the toes and the fine feathers of its crest. No one taught me how to do this but it is mostly done through trial and error and experimenting with the tools that I have in photo shop.
