In contrast to the Red Bellied Woodpecker who came early to the feeder this morning the Northern female and male Northern Cardinals prefer their privacy and enjoy arriving later when the other birds have retired for the evening as it is getting dark. However, they also come in the day time to the feeder.. I shot this picture at 7:40 PM. Best View in Light Box! Thank you!!!
