"On the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word,
keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience... For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Luke 8:15-17"

In a log. a half heart was found..
That lay there on the ground...
E'en by turning one part around....
Still a split remained opened wide,
That disconnected to fit other side;
Til' truth revealed is made manifest
And secrets hidden are confessed
When it has no place else to hide,
For peace in the world to abide
Where broken hearts are unified.......
If honest words produce good worth
To close the void upon God's earth!

I couldn't help but notice the half of a heart shape on the end of a log today when I went outside to shoot this picture on the edge of our woods. While I attempted to turn one side around in photo shop it only part way fit to make a complete heart. Rather than connect it completely, I left it with a split. Symbolism can be clearly found in this such as the differences in how things are perceived and not seen inside the heart of the world and in politics. You can see the word heart in the word earth. The split heart in the log inspired my poetry!
