The Baltimore Oriole baby was unsure how to get down to the jelly dish below that he was wanting so badly... Everything is new and he has so much to learn. Though not too confident yet to fly down to the dish it still has the desire and the will to survive. However, at this moment in its life away from the security of the nest , the young bird is feeling alone in a big world!

Best View in Light Box! Thank you!

Thank you all so much for the kind words...I did have another entry for this challenge but the
little Oriole touched my heart because of its vulnerability and I think it fits the challenge better
than the one I had posted earlier.

Your narrative is so heartfelt, Andrea. It adds so much to the already excellent photo. Love your passion!
