    It is a tragic event to be sure. The driver was out safe before the fire got big and after 911 was called all the driver could do was wait. Sadly, he was in the middle of the desert and the truck was completely up in flames before a fire truck could get there.

    A powerful image as tragic as it is... but also is miraculous that the driver escaped unharmed ... a truck can always be replaced but not a life..It fits the theme very well!.

    Thank you so much. The driver was out when the flames were small and only on the tires, thankfully. When I first say the driver he had the look of knowing this would happen but knowing there was nothing to stop the process. Being so far into the desert, him knowing all he could he was wait for the inevitable, was the clear expression on his face. :(
