The tortoise's head
Came out of his shell
And dark cool bed
Where it liked to dwell.

He said, "why oh why,
Does a pesky old fly
Need all that space
To tickle my face?"
┬ęPoetry by me AJP

Although I felt sorry for the tortoise the fly gave me an opportunity to see the head come out of its shell and get a macro shot at the petting zoo at county fair on Friday. His eye is glaring at the fly seen by the corner of its mouth. I didn't swat it off as I would rather he ate the fly and not my finger:-)
