A tiny Green Tree Frog and fly
Now roommates to occupy
Large old milkweed leaf
Each have their own end.......
Green Tree frog may be in grief
No longer with good friend
Who had been on same leaf
In photo shot o'er a week ago
Together seen on link below......

Excuse my silly poetry:-) .... I captured this pair yesterday on the same milkweed leaf that two tiny green tree frogs occupied last week but on a different part of the leaf...There is something about the big decaying leaf that frogs and flies like to call their home sweet home!

The tones and textures here are beautiful! It looks like the perfect spot to relax on a sunny day, if tiny enough :)

So charming! I don't think I've seen a tree frog in decades. So tiny, delicate!

Thank you all for the comments...What I think is really funny Litzl is that my husband had just said to me a day before we saw the first two tree frogs that were cuddled together this month (on the link that I included) that he hadn't seen a tree frog for quite awhile..Now suddenly we are seeing them. on milkweed leaves in the woods.. They are so very tiny!
