I shot this last October 11 outside of one of the libraries that we go to and surprisingly it wasn't until now that I discovered the mannequin head at the base of the tree on this picture...Someone must have hidden it there before Halloween for a project of finding the lost head... I cropped in for a closer look....We don't get the peak of fall colors until October in our area...I think I was so intent on shooting the colorful leaves that I didn't see what was on the bottom of the tree until I looked at the whole picture a few minutes ago..... Better late than the saying goes.

    That is simply gorgeous! Outstanding autumn colors here and the mannequin head adds that special something to this beautiful image! Great entry for the challenge!

    Thank you all the comments.. Nasrin,.The leaves of this species of tree turns red color in the fall of the year ..It is an ornamental type of tree but not sure if it has ever produced apples
