A bee in temps of only 45 degrees was feeling a bit sluggish late this afternoon from the cold. There were no other bees or butterflies on the Asters to keep it company..We are predicted to have rain tonight and tomorrow more rain in the forecast ..In spite of it all the Asters are still looking pretty and both bee and flowers were hanging in there..It greatly surprised me to even see one bee when I checked things out as it felt like winter. The sun came out for 10 minutes today and then went behind the clouds ..I used a tripod to shoot this picture and did not use flash as the bee was barely moving. I replaced one of my earlier photos for my photo essay and exchanged it for this picture as I like the color of the asters at this stage of their growth.
