I was at the bookstore at Borders as a matter of fact, after going to Gurnee Mills. This Blonde Girl walks into Borders for a book release party. I really could not take my eyes off her. So finally after standing there at the local books for about 15 more minutes, i decide to walk over, and ask if i get my camera out of the car, Could i take her picture. She responded with a very polite yes, and giggles as i begin my journey through the parking lot to car. When I get back into the bookstore, I think to myself, well I am glad she did not just walk away. After taking the picture i decide to walk back over to the music section, then again i have a great idea. This would be a great photograph for photograph a stranger. So again I wonder where she went to. I finally find her, and ask her name she says its Jenny Landman, and if she reads this I hope I got the spelling of her name correct. I ask her why all the Makeup. She responded by saying She was an Extra as a zombie for a movie, and this book release party was for a book about vampires, so she kept the makeup on for the book realease party. She asked me politely what was this for?. i then told her it was for Jpeg magazine. She smiled as then I told Her what a Great makeup job it was. Jenny laughed, and said tell my friend that when she gets here. Then with a polite Thank you for your time I stumbled over my words I walked away. As I walked away she then told her mom i think see I knew this makeup would get me somewhere!. Again thank you Jenny you were a great personality and person.

In the A few more cinema phots photo essay.

Matt Granz gave props (2 Aug 2008):

She sort of reminds me of Ally Sheedy... but mutilated... and still smiling... the story behind this must be a good one.
