disassembled set up. reversing ring (BR-2A) screws on to front of lens and mounts to camera, while adapter ring (BR3) attaches to rear lens to protect it allowing you to add a protective layer of glass such as a UV filter

    I liked you essay. I found a reversal ring on eBay and also used it with a 50mm 1.4 I also got on eBay. I also have the D300. Yes, it works great! What is this bellows you are talking about? What does that do for you?

    Great set up for macro work... I have an old Canon AE1 Program with a 50mm 1.8 and a reversing ring set up - haven't shot it much lately but you have stirred me up to want to run a roll of film through it now!
