Trailer Park Christmas - Part I

Trailer Park Xmas

I felt like a trespassor, as I drove my parent's big, old beige Lincoln through row and rows of trailers. ( I would have turned the lights off, but they come on automatically) And, most of the shots required a flash. A number of times, people actually came out of their homes with angry looks on their faces. One time, 3 people came out and started walking towards my car....had to back out ~ and away! This first group of photos were taken as an "outsider". Part II will contain photos from the wonderful guys who graciously invited me inside their home, last night.

Yea Rad Vote! Great set of photos. I know what you mean by some people getting upset. We had that happen a few times. Mostly when driving through the hills in TN and NC. Every one would start walking toward you and they didn't look happy. Maybe some were on wanted posters :)

mmm trailer "Kitsch" not to be confused with trailer "trash" sometimes associated with its inhabitants...

Maura, let's go to a trailer park in Hawthorne... I'll drive - you shoot, the getaway will be easier. Great essay!
