Obituary for La Cathedrale de la Saint Trinte.
Elle est mort.
The murals of the Cathedral de la Saint Trinite (the Anglican cathedral in Port-au-Prince) began gracing the walls of what had been a structure of no particular architectural merit in 1949. By 1953, the cathedral was enlivened with them.
Sadly, the cathedral fell in the earthquake of 2010.
(This photo was taken on 18 July 2008, while in Haiti on a U.S. Department of State project.)
